Description
Engineering For Kids brings science, technology, engineering and Math (STEM), to kids ages 4 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs and parties. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning. Engineering is, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world! Engineering For Kids opens its first flagship learning center in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2015. In juts a few months we’re proud to boast over 400 students, partnerships with prestigious schools and growing exponentially! We’re looking to hire teachers for Kemayoran branch, who has a passion for children, fluent in English to join or dynamic team. The person has to be mobile and willing to travel within Sunter, Kemayoran and Ancol. On the job training will be accommodated to successful candidates.
As an Engineering for Kids Teacher, your job scope will be conducting these educational services that we offer:
• one or more of these following Enrichment classes according to your strength: Engineering class (mandatory), Robotics and Video Game Design.
• weekly enrichment classes conducted IN-center or AT-school.
• holiday program, school trip to our center, birthday parties, events or workshops.
• services are conducted In or OUTSIDE the center, so you’ll be required to travel around Kemayoran, Sunter and Ancol area from time to time. You will also be held accountable to Plan, Conduct, Review and Retain the quality of Teaching.
Requirements
• Fresh Graduates or less than 1 year experience
• Fluent in English
• Basic knowledge in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• Self-starter, self-motivated, and is a problem-solver.
• Cheerful and outgoing personality
• Loves children and teaching
• Has a knack for Creativity, love to Improve and Learning new things
• Team player
• Willing to work a 6-day roster
• S1 (Bachelor Degree) graduates or equivalent, preferably from English, Education, Engineering, Physics field.
